Day-to-day
School lunches, with FEED.
A hot lunch every day, ordered on the FEED app up to 8am on the day, or a packed lunch from home.
Our caterers
Food children love, that's good for them.
School lunches at Swiss Gardens are provided by FEED (ISS), who took over from Chartwells in September 2026.
Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 lunches are free under Universal Infant Free School Meals. From Year 3, lunches cost £2.95 a meal. Menus and how the ordering system works are on feedwestsussex.co.uk.

How to order
Order on the FEED app.
Meals are ordered on the FEED app, up to 8am on the day.
Get set up
Visit feedwestsussex.co.uk to find out how to get the FEED app and set up your account. The school office can help if you get stuck.
Choose a meal
Pick your child's meal from the menu in the app. Infant meals are free, but still need ordering so the kitchen knows numbers.
Order by 8am
You can order up to 8am on the day. FEED prepares your child's meal fresh at school.
Allergies & special diets
For food intolerances and allergies.
A food allergy is not a dietary preference. It is a serious medical condition, and we treat it that way. We are a nut-free school, and all staff have up-to-date allergy training with West Sussex.
Daily milk
A small bottle of milk, every day.
Children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 can have a bottle of milk every day through Cool Milk, the school’s milk-subscription service.
Milk is free for children under five (under the government’s Nursery Milk Scheme); a small paid subscription kicks in once your child turns five. Cool Milk handles both — register on their website and they’ll walk you through eligibility and payment.
